If you selected Ubuntu with VNC desktop or CentOS or other Linux OS with desktop, here’s how to run the command to start VNC server on the VPS, and then log in with VNC.

The Ubuntu build you selected comes with the GNOME environment and VNC packages pre-installed. You will need to access the server via shell to start the VNC server and set up a desktop, before connecting with a VNC viewer client. To start the VNC service on the server, run the command:

vncserver :1

This will ask you for a password. After the VNC startup is complete, you can connect to the server address with any VNC client software.
